  2. Wash potatoes and apples thoroughly.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  4. During the cooking process, you will need foil.
  5. Peel the potatoes and cut into slices thinly. Place the potatoes evenly in a baking dish.
  6. Cut the butter into small pieces and place on top of the potatoes.
  7. Place the potatoes in a preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Core the apples and cut into thin slices.
  9. Remove the potato dish from the oven and lay out the apple.
  10. Add sour cream to the pan.
  11. Season the potatoes with apples and sour cream with salt and pepper.
  12. Mix everything well.
  13. Cover the dish with foil and cook in the oven for another 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
  14. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  15. Remove the potato and apple dish from the oven and sprinkle with cheese.
  16. Return the potatoes, apple, and cheese pan to the oven. Bake for about 5-10 minutes more, until the cheese crust is golden brown.
  17. Baked potatoes with apples and cheese are ready.
  18. Serve the dish to the table immediately, supplementing with fresh vegetables and herbs if desired
