Agree, there is nothing better than a young potato! And when it's still tasty and healthy ... Much healthier than fries! The recipe for potatoes in the oven is simple and does not take much time. Repeat to your health, friends! Empty plates and requests for more are guaranteed!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, wash the potatoes. Young potatoes do not need to be peeled. If the potatoes are old, it is better to remove the skins.
  2. Cut the potatoes into slices about half a centimeter thick. It is better to cut large potatoes into cubes.
  3. Take a few cloves of garlic, some parsley, salt and a few tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  4. It is very important in this recipe to rinse the potatoes well. We wash the potato circles with running water several times. This is necessary so that excess starch comes out.
  5. It is also important to get rid of excess moisture, so use a paper (kitchen) towel and blot the potato slices well.
  6. At the same time, set the oven to warm up to 200 degrees.
  7. Next, we take a form convenient for baking and send potato circles there.
  8. Cut the peeled garlic into pieces and distribute over the potatoes in a mold. Sprinkle potatoes with salt and pour over vegetable oil.
  9. Mix everything well (I do it with my hands).
  10. We send the form to a preheated oven. First, bake the potatoes in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  11. After this time, mix the potatoes with garlic (turn over) and put them in the oven for another 20 minutes. Focus on your oven - it may take a little more or a little less time. The aroma, by the way, is great!
  12. Before serving, sprinkle the baked garlic potatoes with chopped herbs.
  13. Bon Appetit!
