The combination of radish and pomegranate is the base of the famous Uzbek salad "Tashkent", from which boiled beef was removed. For a lighter, more budget-friendly option, simply grate the radish and mix it with the pomegranate seeds. We used pomegranate juice as a dressing, or you can use olive juice mixed with a drop of balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel 3 medium green radishes, cut into thin slices first and then into long thin strips.
  2. Select 1 large, sour pomegranate, cut into 4 pieces. Select grains from one quarter, squeeze juice from the remaining 3.
  3. Pour pomegranate juice over the radish, stir, leave for 15 minutes. Cut the onion into thin half rings.
  4. Place the salad on a large plate, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, garnish with onions and serve.
