Juicy, incredibly tender Revani soaked in aromatic syrup will not leave anyone indifferent, everyone will ask for another piece of this delicious Turkish dessert !!!

  1. Pour sugar into a deep cup, add eggs and beat until fluffy.
  2. Add yogurt, flour with baking powder, vegetable oil, and mix well again.
  3. Next, add semolina, vanilla, lemon zest to the dough and mix well again.
  4. Cover the baking dish with baking paper, grease it a little with vegetable oil, spread the dough and bake the rhubarb in a preheated oven at 180 * C for 30-35 minutes.
  5. While the révanie is baking, prepare the syrup: pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and lemon juice, set on maximum heat and bring to a boil, then make medium heat and cook the syrup for another 5 minutes. Cool it down.
  6. Pour the cooled syrup into the hot révanie. Cut into small squares or rhombuses.
  7. Serve with icing sugar, garnish with lemon zest, mint leaves and, if desired, coconut. Enjoy your tea !!!
