Rolls Toast with Strawberries and Mascarpone

Mascarpone can be replaced with fatty cottage cheese or any cream cheese.

  1. Cut the strawberries into small cubes. Cut the crusts off the bread.
  2. Whisk the egg and milk. Brush 2/3 of each piece of mascarpone bread about 3 mm thick, the rest 1 mm thick.
  3. Place strawberries on a thick layer of mascarpone, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Roll the filled bread into a roll, starting on the thick side. Dip in an egg (let the bread absorb the egg mixture well).
  4. Melt the butter in a frying pan, fry the rolls in oil on all sides over medium-high heat until golden brown. Serve with chocolate sauce.
