This interesting salad is perfect for weekdays and holidays. Some 10-15 years ago, salads with shrimps were considered exotic in our country. Now these seafood is so affordable that at least every day you can cook different interesting dishes. As they say, there would be money.

  1. Prepare ingredients. For a salad with shrimps, arugula and maasdam, we need: shrimps, cherry tomatoes, arugula, a slice of maasdam, a clove of garlic, a slice of chili pepper, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt. Wash and dry the arugula.
  2. Wash the shrimp, dry it and remove the shell and head. You can leave the ponytails.
  3. Peel the garlic. Remove seeds from chili peppers. Cut the pepper itself into small pieces.
  4. Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry and cut in half.
  5. Cut the maasdam into thin slices or grate.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the garlic and chili peppers. Fry together until the garlic is browned. Then remove the garlic and pepper.
  7. Place the shrimps in the pan. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Remove the shrimps from the pan. Save the oil left over from the shrimp.
  8. Place arugula, cherry tomato halves, shrimp and cheese on a serving platter.
  9. Add balsamic vinegar and olive oil, in which the shrimps were fried, to the salad. Mix everything and serve.
