  1. Let's prepare shortbread dough. Put butter cut into small pieces in a deep container, leave the butter to soften at room temperature for a while.
  2. Add flour to soft butter (sift through a sieve in advance), mixed with salt and soda. Knead everything thoroughly, kneading the dough with your fingers.
  3. Add the egg and granulated sugar to the dough. Now knead the dough with your hands. Knead quickly so that an oil film does not form on the surface of the dough from the butter. Put the finished dough in the refrigerator for a short time (15 minutes).
  4. During this period, lightly fry the nuts in a pan, after which we either chop them with a knife or grind them in a blender.
  5. Put the cooled dough on the work surface and roll it out (the thickness of the dough should be 4–6 mm). Now we form the cookies in the form of rings.
  6. Place the ring cookies on a floured board and put the dough in the refrigerator again (10 minutes). Then we take them out of the refrigerator and grease them with yolk.
  7. We dip each ring in a nut mixture and send it to a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Cooking oven rings with nuts in the oven at 200 ° C for 10-15 minutes.
