Tender tiger prawns on skewers and sweet and sour sauce make for a great Japanese-style dinner in a hurry. Traditionally, Yakitori sauce is used for fried chicken in Japanese cuisine, but this sauce goes well with shrimp.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel the shrimp from the shell, leaving the tails.
  2. Cut along the back, remove the esophagus.
  3. Cut off the green part of the onion, leaving only the white part.
  4. Pepper seeds and cut into segments.
  5. On bamboo skewers, chop 3-4 shrimps, alternating with the white part of the onion and pepper.
  6. Preheat the grill. You can grease the grate with oil.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill, fry the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  8. Pour Yakitoria sauce into a saucepan, heat it, bring to a state of liquid caramel.
  9. Put the finished shrimps on a plate. Drizzle with hot sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. Bon Appetit!
