Bright, fast, tasty and easy to prepare! Shrimp with vegetables in a pan in soy sauce is an amazingly delicious dish! Multicolored vegetables make it very colorful, and the composition of the products - healthy and satisfying.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. How to cook shrimp with vegetables? Prepare all the food you need. The first step is to defrost the shrimp. To do this, remove them from the freezer and leave them at room temperature. For faster defrosting, I sometimes fill the shrimp with water at room temperature, so they defrost much faster.
  2. In a separate small container, add a pinch of dry basil, oregano and garlic, ground paprika, salt, allspice and dry onion. Any of these seasonings can be excluded, and the amount can also be adjusted.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Send defrosted shrimps to a deep bowl, add spices, soy sauce and vegetable oil.
  5. Stir well and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  6. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and garlic. Rinse all vegetables well under running cold water. If possible, use different colors of peppers, so the finished shrimp will look more appetizing. I took the red onion, it will also decorate the finished dish. If you have an older zucchini (squash), remove the seeds and cut the tough skin off.
  7. Remove seeds and stalks from peppers. Cut the peppers into medium cubes, the onions into the feathers, and the courgettes into slices or semicircles. Pass the garlic through a press, or finely chop it by hand.
  8. Preheat a frying pan, send the marinated shrimp to fry. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Next, remove the crustaceans on a separate plate.
  9. In the skillet where the shrimps were cooked, send all the vegetables and butter.
  10. Leave on the stove until the peppers and zucchini are tender. This will take from 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong your flame is and how large the pieces of vegetables are.
  11. There are the final touches, add the shrimp to the vegetables, stir and leave for 2-3 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle finely chopped herbs over the dish.
  13. Shrimp with vegetables can be served with boiled rice for dinner.
  14. Offer shrimp for lunch with pasta or any boiled pasta, delicious and satisfying!
  15. Seafood contains many vitamins and health benefits. A big plus in shrimp is that they cook very quickly!
  16. Serve shrimps with vegetables as an independent dish with a glass of sparkling wine, or with rice, pasta, as a full-fledged dinner or lunch!
  17. Enjoy your meal!
  18. Use oil with a high smoke point for frying! Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the smoke point, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it.
  19. Unrefined oils, with rare exceptions, have a low smoke point. They contain a lot of unfiltered organic particles that quickly start burning.
  20. Refined oils are more resistant to heat and have a higher smoke point. Make sure to use oil with a high smoke point if you intend to cook food in the oven, pan or grill. The most common high smoke point oils are refined sunflower, olive and grape varieties.
