Small peppers stuffed with turkey and rice

Small peppers stuffed with turkey and rice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rinse the rice and soak in water for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir the turkey mince well, salt, mix with rice.
  3. Peppers (I had small young peppers, if there are more peppers, then less of them will be needed) free from films and seeds.
  4. Stuff tightly with minced meat, put in a deep saucepan so that all the peppers are open end up.
  5. Pour boiled water over them to coat. Season with salt, add tomato paste, cloves and bay leaves.
  6. Boil, cover and simmer over low heat until tender, about 45 minutes.
