Spaghetti with Broccoli

Spaghetti is a versatile ingredient with which you can create thousands of different dishes. In the spring-summer season, I propose to cook spaghetti with broccoli and pamper your body with vitamins.

  1. Peel the broccoli and cut into small cubes.
  2. Dip the broccoli in water, in which you will then cook the spaghetti, cook them for a few minutes (it is better to steam it!). We want the broccoli to soften.
  3. Cook al dente spaghetti. Pour the cup of water in which the pasta was boiled and set it aside. Pour the rest of the water, we will use the pan for frying. Chop the onion finely.
  4. At the bottom of a saucepan, place the oil and pour in the olive oil. Heat to medium heat and fry the onion for 5-7 minutes. Then add the garlic and cook for a couple more minutes. Add broccoli, salt and pepper, stir and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Add the cream, stirring occasionally, and simmer for 30 seconds. Then place everything in a blender and whisk.
  6. Transfer the finished sauce and pasta back to the saucepan, add a cup of previously left water, mix everything and cook for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. Grate the Parmesan on a grater.
  7. Transfer the broccoli pasta to a plate and sprinkle generously with Parmesan. The dish is ready! Enjoy!
