Wash, put carrots and potatoes in a saucepan, cover with cold water. Boil. Reduce heat to low, cook vegetables in their skins, covered, until tender (20-30 minutes). Drain the water. Refrigerate.
Defrost squids, rinse. Fold into a cauldron. Boil the kettle. Pour boiling water over the squid, bring to a boil. Cook for 3 minutes.
Throw squid in a colander, rinse, cool. Cut into strips.
Open a jar of canned peas, drain the liquid.
Peel potatoes, cut into cubes.
Peel carrots, cut into cubes.
Cut the gherkins (pickled cucumbers) into pieces.
Wash green onions (or onions) and chop finely.
Wash greens and chop finely. Peel the garlic and chop finely with a knife.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Salt and pepper the squid salad, season with mayonnaise to taste. Mix.
