A great dish for seafood lovers! Squid stewed in sour cream is an excellent appetizer for any occasion: from a family dinner to gala evenings. Differs in excellent taste and appetizing appearance. Preparing quickly and easily! Do not deny yourself the pleasure of trying this dish.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For the recipe, we prepare all the necessary ingredients. Next, we carefully look at how to cook stewed squid in sour cream? And it's pretty easy to do!
  2. We need to first clean the squid carcasses from the film. To do this, they need to be doused with boiling water so that they are easier to clean. Cut the peeled squid into not very thin rings.
  3. Salt, pepper, and roll each ring in flour.
  4. Preheat a frying pan with the addition of olive oil and very quickly fry the rings over medium heat on both sides. This point is very important - we need them to only slightly take on a blush and turn a little pink. Transfer the fried squid rings from the pan to the dish and set aside for now.
  5. Peel the onion and garlic and cut into thin half rings. We spread it in a frying pan where the squids were fried. We fry in the same oil as our rings. Cooking time - 3 minutes, do not forget to stir so that nothing burns.
  6. When the onion becomes transparent, add squid rings to the pan and fill it all with sour cream. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the contents over low heat for about 15 minutes. Do not be afraid, squid will never be hard in sour cream.
  7. Our delicious meal is ready! The serving can be done very nicely by placing the squid rings on the lettuce leaves.
  8. We have created a very delicate and aromatic dish of your favorite seafood. In taste, it vaguely resembles fried mushrooms, only much tastier. Squid stewed in sour cream is good to serve with mashed potatoes or boiled spaghetti. Due to the huge protein content in squid, I recommend this dish to anyone who leads an active lifestyle, and also advise you to include it in the diet of baby food. This culinary recipe comes from my childhood, when squid was considered a delicacy and instantly swept off the store shelves. Now that they are commercially available, I cook them very often.
