If you are going to feed this salad to a child, place fruit sorbet or low-fat ice cream on the plate. And don't add pepper.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise; turn the halves, one clockwise, the other counterclockwise, and separate them. Hit the bone lightly with the blade of a heavy knife so that the blade enters it a few millimeters; remove the bone.
  2. Peel the avocado and cut the flesh into 1 cm thick slices. Sprinkle immediately with lemon juice to prevent darkening.
  3. Wash the strawberries, dry them, cut the tails and cut them into slices. Peel or leave the cucumber if desired; cut into thin rings.
  4. Place avocados, strawberries and cucumbers on a plate.
  5. In a small jar with a well-closing lid, pour in the lemon juice, olive oil and walnut oil, add poppy seeds and pepper. Close the jar, shake vigorously, then pour the dressing into the gravy boat. Serve the sauce separately - let each season the salad to taste.
