We all love croutons. Those who do not eat bread also love, they simply cannot. But for those who can, we advise to layer golden croutons with ham and cheese. Mmm, how delicious it is!

  1. Slice both slices of bread horizontally in the center, not completely, without cutting about 1.5 cm. Spread the inside of the bread with butter, put in slices of cheese and ham, as well as basil leaves.
  2. Whisk eggs with milk and salt until smooth in a deep bowl. Place the stuffed bread in this mixture and leave, turning frequently so that the bread absorbs it evenly for about 3 minutes.
  3. Preheat a skillet with butter over high heat, put the croutons, fry on both sides until golden brown, 1 minute each, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid so that the croutons are fried inside and the cheese melted, 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
