Mix flour with salt and soda, combine flour and warm kefir (or yogurt), knead a soft elastic dough, cover with a towel and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
Puree boiled hot potatoes, add hot milk and fried finely chopped onions, mix.
Divide the dough into an equal number of balls (I have 12 pieces), roll each ball into a small cake about 8-10 mm thick, put the filling in the middle, pinch the dough at the top, put the seam down and roll out the cake. It's okay if the cakes break a little.
Fry in a hot dry skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, one side covered, the other without a lid. Grease hot with butter.
