TSARSKY SALAD WITH SQUID AND SHRIMPS

Elegant presentation and excellent multifaceted taste. Suitable for a festive table and for a romantic candlelight dinner. The salad has a pleasant airy consistency, which is achieved due to the fact that the ingredients are rubbed on a fine grater.

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs in advance and grate them on a fine grater. I suggest collecting the salad immediately on a serving platter. Put eggs in the first layer and brush with a little mayonnaise.
  2. Cut the pitted olives into thin rings. Place in a single layer on top of the eggs.
  3. Grate crab sticks (or crab meat) on a fine grater and lay out in the next layer. Brush with a little mayonnaise.
  4. Wash the dill and shake from water. Chop finely and lay out in the next layer. By the way, if you put the dill layer at the very end, you get a charming Christmas tree, in my opinion.
  5. Grate the spicy cheese on a fine grater and put on top of the dill. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  6. The peeled squids must be boiled in advance by placing the carcasses in boiling water for a couple of minutes and cooled. Then chop into small cubes.
  7. Squids are the next layer of the salad. Top with mayonnaise.
  8. Boil the shrimps in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Remove shells. And check for the presence of a dark green strip on the back of the esophagus. If it is present, then it must be removed by making an incision along the entire back of the shrimp.
  9. Put the shrimps on top of the mayonnaise (they will hold well). I laid out the whole shrimp, as I am deeply convinced that these unique crustaceans need cutting only as a last resort (that is, almost never). And decorate the salad with red caviar and fresh herbs. Before serving, the plate must be cleaned with a napkin if it has gotten dirty during the cooking process.
  10. The salad can be shaped to your liking. A round culinary ring can be used for this purpose. The salad will look especially impressive in the shape of a cube. And for a romantic dinner, I advise you to lay out the salad in the shape of a heart.
