Despite the fact that turkey meat is considered dietary and rather dry, a juicy and very tasty steak can be prepared from turkey breast. It is important here: proper preparation for frying - additional marinating time, and also not to dry the breast during frying. And the sweetish-spicy taste of black French mustard seeds and Provencal herbs will favorably emphasize the taste of turkey.

  1. Crush the seeds of black French mustard a little in a mortar or just a crush on a board.
  2. Sprinkle sea salt, black pepper, Provencal herbs and French mustard seeds on a board and roll over the steaks, pressing in the spices. Beat the spices on top with a little crush, giving the steaks an even shape at the same time. But the thickness should be about 1.5 cm.
  3. Drizzle with lemon juice, wine vinegar and olive oil. Marinate in the refrigerator under plastic wrap for 3-4 hours. It is recommended to marinate the turkey well so that the meat turns out juicy, tender and cooks faster.
  4. Dry with a paper towel before frying, remove large spices (seeds) so that they do not turn into coals in the grill pan. Fry, pressing with a spatula, in a well-heated frying pan, greased with a little oil, for 2-3 minutes. from each side.
  5. Then again for 2 minutes, forming the pattern of the lattice. You can also brown the sides slightly by holding the steak in a vertical direction with tongs and rolling it over the grill for about a minute. After frying, let the meat rest for 10-15 minutes, wrapping it in foil and putting a piece of butter on the steak for juiciness and tenderness. In foil, it will come and remain juicy.
  6. Serve with fresh vegetables - sliced, or light vegetable salad to your taste. Sprinkle with parsley or cilantro, drizzle with lemon and olive oil.
