This simple and tasty White Swan salad has a versatile combination of chicken, potatoes and pickled cucumber.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, boil the chicken breast until tender. I cool the chicken breast without taking it out of the broth. Chilled chicken meat in broth is juicier and tastier. When the chicken broth has cooled down, I take out the meat from the pan, divide it by fibers.
  2. Simultaneously with the chicken, I put the potatoes in their skins to boil in a separate saucepan.
  3. I cool the boiled potatoes, peel them, rub the potatoes on a coarse grater.
  4. Hard-boiled chicken eggs, cool in cold water. I free the cooled chicken eggs from the shell.
  5. Divide boiled, peeled chicken eggs into whites and yolks. I rub the proteins on a grater, put them in a separate plate. They will be used to decorate the White Swan salad. I will spread the swan with the rubbed squirrels.
  6. In a separate plate I rub the yolks of boiled chicken eggs.
  7. You can add both pickled and pickled cucumbers to the White Swan salad. I like the pickled cucumber salad. I take three small pickles and chop them into small pieces. According to the recipe, pickled (pickled) cucumbers are grated on a grater (large). I do not rub the cucumbers, but chop them finely with a knife so that there is less cucumber juice in the salad.
  8. Peel, wash and chop the blue salad onions.
  9. Having cut all the necessary products for the salad, I start laying out the salad layers. The first layer of White Swan salad is potato.
  10. Spreading grated boiled potatoes all over the bottom of the plate, salt, pepper, cover the potato layer with a mayonnaise net.
  11. I spread the chicken meat on the potatoes, salt it.
  12. Put the chopped salad onions on the chicken layer. Cover the onion with a net of mayonnaise.
  13. The next layer is chopped pickled cucumbers.
  14. I also cover this layer with mayonnaise to make it easier to apply a layer of chicken egg yolks.
  15. Cover the whole salad with grated yolks.
  16. On top of the salad I spread fresh parsley leaves and lettuce leaves, and on them I spread chopped chicken egg whites in the form of a swan. From boiled carrots I cut out the beak of a swan and a butterfly. From olives I make an "eye" and a contour of a "beak".
  17. "White Swan" salad with chicken and potatoes is ready!
