Young potatoes baked with bread crumbs and cheese

Boiled young potatoes are delicious on their own. But if, after boiling, grease it with a fragrant mixture of bread crumbs, spices, garlic and olive oil, sprinkle with cheese, and then bake it in the oven for a short time, then this version of the potato will become the favorite in your family!

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Rinse young potatoes thoroughly and peel them off with a stiff brush. If it was not completely filmed, it's okay, the skin of young potatoes is very thin.
  2. Breadcrumbs can be used ready-made or made from dried white bread.
  3. Pour potatoes with 1.5 liters of drinking water, add salt, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer over medium heat until soft when pierced. I cooked for 10 minutes. Then drain the water.
  4. 5 minutes before the end of cooking potatoes, turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  5. For the sauce, combine olive oil, bread crumbs and potato seasoning in a deep bowl.
  6. Peel the garlic, grate on a fine grater and add to the plate as well.
  7. Use a spatula to combine all the ingredients into a homogeneous thick mass.
  8. Transfer the hot boiled potatoes to a baking dish and pour over the mixture. Stir with a spatula until the tubers are evenly coated with the aromatic breading.
  9. Finely grate the cheese and sprinkle on the potatoes.
  10. Bake potatoes with cheese and breadcrumbs in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  11. The cheese and breading will bake and become crispy and flavorful.
  12. Garnish a plate of potatoes with fresh lettuce or parsley and dill.
  13. Thanks to the aromatic butter with breadcrumbs and cheese, a thin crust is obtained on the outside, and the potatoes are very soft inside.
  14. Out of season for young vegetables, according to this recipe, you can bake potato wedges, it will be no less tasty!
