Apple Cake with Dates

The cake is prepared with apple jam, dates, nuts and spices.

Ingredients

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease and flour a cake tin (with a hole in the middle) with a diameter of 25 cm.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter with sugar until creamy. Gradually add eggs, beating well after each.
  4. Continuing to beat the butter mixture at low speed, add dry ingredients, alternating with apple jam.
  5. Add dates and walnuts to the dough, mix with a spoon.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and place in preheated oven, bake apple cake 80-90 minutes, until clean wooden stick when pierced.
  7. Remove the finished apple cake from the oven, run a knife between the product and the sides of the mold. Leave the cake in the mold at room temperature for 15 minutes. Remove the apple pie from the mold and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
