Apple chocolate cake with ganache

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
  2. Apples are better to use sweet and sour varieties - they are more juicy and more expressive in baking.
  3. In a deep bowl, combine eggs, vanilla and sugar. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the baking powder, wheat flour and cocoa powder to the bowl with the eggs and sugar.
  5. Melt the butter in the microwave and add to the bowl with the dough. Stir with a whisk.
  6. Peel the apples from the peel and seeds and cut into slices for convenience.
  7. Grate peeled apples on a grater with large holes.
  8. Add the apples to the mixing bowl and stir.
  9. Cover the springform with parchment paper and transfer the dough into it (I used a mold with a diameter of 18-19 cm). Level the surface with a spatula.
  10. Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  11. Let the cake cool slightly.
  12. Pour the cream into a deep plate (which can be put in the microwave - without metal elements and gilding) and break the chocolate into pieces here.
  13. Heat the plate with chocolate in the microwave at maximum power (800 W) for 10 seconds in pulses, stirring the contents with a spatula after each time. Repeat the operation until the chocolate becomes homogeneous.
  14. Release the cooled cake from the mold.
  15. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cake and leave to cool.
  16. The cooled cake is ready to serve.
  17. Airy, fluffy and moist thanks to apples, a pie with a rich chocolate flavor - who can refuse a piece of such a festive dessert? :)
