Apple muffins with caramel

These muffins are made with sour cream and fresh apples. Served apple muffins with caramel and nuts.

Ingredients

  1. Prepare powder. In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut the butter into small pieces, put in a dry mixture and mix well with your hands until a homogeneous, crumbly mass is formed. Put the bowl in the refrigerator.
  2. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract with a mixer on low speed.
  4. In a separate bowl mix flour, soda and baking powder. Gradually introduce this dry mixture into the sour cream mass, mix, but do not overdo it. Enter chopped apples. Lightly butter 12 muffin tins, fill them 3/4 full with batter and sprinkle with sprinkles.
  5. Place the molds in the oven and bake the apple muffins for about 18-20 minutes, until a clean wooden stick.
  6. Ready muffins get out of their molds, put on a wire rack. Let the apple muffins cool for 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the caramel and cream in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Leave caramel at room temperature to thicken.
  8. Dip apple muffins in caramel and sprinkle with nuts. Place muffins caramel side up on parchment paper towels. For serving, you can insert decorative branches into apple muffins.
