Delicate apple soufflé, the basis for which is made from prunes, nuts and wheat bran, is a wonderful dessert. Such a delicious, healthy and beautiful no-bake cake is ideal for a cup of tea or coffee.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary ingredients. We wash the prunes and soak in hot water for 1 hour, then drain the water.
  2. Turn on the oven and heat up to 180 degrees.
  3. We wash the apples and, without cutting into pieces, take out the seed box.
  4. We spread the apples in a baking dish or on a baking sheet and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake apples until soft. My apples baked for 45 minutes.
  5. Pour gelatin with 75 ml of water and leave to swell.
  6. We chop the nuts.
  7. Cut prunes into medium pieces.
  8. Using a blender, grind prunes into a homogeneous mass.
  9. We clean the cooled apples from the peel.
  10. Put the pulp of apples in a deep bowl and add honey. I have liquid honey.
  11. Beat the pulp of apples with honey until smooth.
  12. Place 1/4 of the applesauce in a heavy bottomed saucepan. Add the swollen gelatin and heat over low heat until the gelatin dissolves.
  13. To the main mass of applesauce, add mashed potatoes with gelatin and mix. If you like cinnamon, you can add it at this stage of cooking. Then add the egg whites and beat thoroughly for 5 minutes.
  14. We combine prunes, nuts and bran. I have crushed bran. If you have large bran, you need to grind them additionally.
  15. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  16. We shift the mass into a detachable form, evenly distribute along the bottom. We tamp with a spoon. I have a mold with a diameter of 24 cm.
  17. We spread the apple soufflé on the base.
  18. We level the mass and place the form in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  19. Chilled soufflé, if desired, can be topped with melted chocolate.
  20. We cut the cake into portioned pieces and invite everyone to the table.
  21. This dessert will appeal to both adults and children.
  22. Enjoy your meal!
