Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making Banana Walnut Pie.
Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to become soft.
Peel ripe bananas, cut the flesh into small pieces. Transfer the bananas to a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.
Grind the walnuts into coarse crumbs and add to the banana puree. Add sour cream there.
Stir the combined ingredients.
Then add soft butter and sugar.
Stir again.
Mix flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Sift dry ingredients into banana base. Knead a homogeneous dough. The dough should be thick and slowly fall off the spoon.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Transfer the dough to a baking dish, the bottom of which is pre-lined with baking parchment. The size of my form is 20x20 cm.
Bake the banana pie in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
Cool the finished pie with bananas on a wire rack, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into portions.
