Today we will cook beef in a marinade based on whiskey and vegetable oil with the addition of mustard and garlic. This marinade will make the meat incredibly tasty. I suggest cooking beef on a grill pan. For the weekend - a chic option for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the beef and pat dry with paper towels. Make cross-shaped incisions on the meat on both sides, not very deep.
  2. Rub the meat with salt and ground pepper.
  3. Pass the garlic through a press and rub the beef with it.
  4. Next, grease the meat with Bavarian mustard.
  5. Prepare a suitable tight bag - it is convenient to marinate meat in it without using additional dishes. Place the meat in a bag, pour whiskey and vegetable oil into it.
  6. Seal the bag and refrigerate the meat for 12-24 hours if time permits.
  7. Before cooking in a pan, take the meat out of the refrigerator in advance, it should be at room temperature.
  8. Heat up a grill pan, then reduce heat slightly. Grill beef on a grill pan for 6-7 minutes on each side. With this time, the Medium degree of roasting is reached, at which the meat remains very juicy (the temperature inside the meat is about 65 degrees). If you spend 18 minutes cooking beef, the degree of roasting is Medium Well (the temperature inside the meat is about 70 degrees). And if you cook meat longer, up to 30 minutes, - Well Done (fried meat with a temperature of about 100 degrees).
  9. Turn the beef periodically in a pan and grease with butter.
  10. Transfer the fried meat to foil, wrap, let it rest for 3-5 minutes.
  11. Slice the cooked steak and serve immediately. When serving hot meat, lightly pepper and salt. Optionally, you can add sauce, fresh vegetables, herbs to the meat.
  12. Enjoy your meal!
