Lean beef is also a good option for a light dinner. Let's make a steak with it with mushrooms and Madeira.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rub the steaks with salt, then pepper (you can mix these two products together).
  2. Choose a pan larger and heavier. Heat a tablespoon of oil in it, then spread the meat. Fry on medium heat, in general, it will take about 10 minutes. In the process, the steaks will need to be turned over. You can then transfer the meat to a plate, cover it with foil and leave it alone for a while.
  3. While the meat is "resting", cut the onion as finely as possible, pour the olive oil into the pan: and fry the vegetables in it. Stir in the onion for 3-4 minutes. When it becomes slightly golden, add Madeira, and send salt and pepper there. After a couple of minutes in the dish, you can add chopped mushrooms, and starch. Let the composition simmer for another minute until it thickens in the sauce.
  4. Remove the foil from the meat, and pour wine and mushroom sauce over it. Dinner ready.
