Moldavian placinti (plechinte, placinta) - round cakes with filling, you can cook with almost anything. This time I have pies with potatoes. Delicious!!!

  1. For the dough, sift the flour into a wide bowl, make a depression in the center, add salt and pour in the water and egg.
  2. Knead a fairly steep, smooth placinda dough. Knead it for a few minutes, then make a ball, cover with a towel and rest for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Peel, boil and mash the potatoes. Fry onions until transparent, mix with potatoes, salt and a mixture of peppers.
  4. Form the dough into small balls. Roll the balls of dough alternately into cakes. Place the filling in the center and fold the edges of the cake towards the center, pinch and roll out slightly.
  5. Fry the pies in a preheated skillet with a little vegetable oil.
