On the Internet I read recipes for how fish is baked in ordinary rock salt. I decided to try to bake the bream caught in the Don. The fish is amazing.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Gut the bream, remove the gills. Do not peel off the scales. Rinse the fish thoroughly inside and out, dry with a paper towel.
  2. Put a pack of salt in a bowl, pour 2 - 3 tbsp. l. water.
  3. Stir salt and water. The result is a mass that looks like snow.
  4. Cover the baking tray with foil, taking into account the further wrapping of the fish. Pour half of the salt mass onto the bottom.
  5. Put a few sprigs of fresh dill in the belly of the bream. Put the bream in a baking sheet over the salt.
  6. Put the remaining salt mass on the bream. Press the salt firmly against the fish, as if sealing the fish with salt on all sides.
  7. Wrap the bream in foil. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 30 - 40 minutes.
  8. Gently clean the cooked fish from salt.
  9. Place the bream on a dish. Serve with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon Appetit!
  10. Half of the bream has already been eaten.
