A wonderful appetizer with a spicy note is a salad of cabbage, carrots and bell peppers, in Korean. The dish is very bright, fragrant and tasty. All vegetables are spicy and slightly spicy. For dressing, vegetable oil, spices and vinegar are used.

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use any cabbage for the recipe: white, Beijing or Savoy cabbage is suitable. I used savoy cabbage - it's delicious, crunchy and tender.
  2. Peel the carrots.
  3. Cut the cabbage into medium pieces or squares.
  4. Grate the peeled carrots with a Korean carrot grater to make long thin strips.
  5. Peel the sweet red pepper from seeds and stalk, cut it into strips.
  6. Put the cabbage in a bowl, mix with salt and leave for 20 minutes.
  7. Squeeze well and drain the juice if it stands out. Add grated carrots to cabbage.
  8. Add bell pepper to salad. Add paprika, coriander, sugar, black pepper.
  9. Peel the garlic, pass through a press and place in the center of the salad.
  10. Sprinkle crushed garlic with crushed red pepper.
  11. Heat vegetable oil until hot. Pour hot vegetable oil over garlic with red pepper. So garlic and hot red pepper will become more fragrant and reveal their taste. Pour the vinegar into the salad.
  12. Mix the salad and marinate in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
  13. Serve the finished snack to the table.
