Very tasty cabbage pie. I suggest you cook a nutritious dish that will not leave your guests indifferent. The recipe for cabbage pie requires very little: young white cabbage, minced meat, vegetables, rice, eggs. This dish is also called lazy stuffed cabbage.

  1. Rinse the cabbage underwater, and remove the first leaves, it is better not to use them because they are often damaged. Next to the cob make incisions with a knife and disassemble all the cabbage into leaves. Cut off the cabbage leaves thickening stems.
  2. Boil water in a large saucepan. Dip cabbage leaves in boiling water in small pieces. Boil them for a few minutes to make them soft. Transfer the boiled cabbage leaves to a plate and leave them to cool.
  3. At the same time put the rice to boil, and add a little salt to the water.
  4. Put the minced pork in a preheated pan and lightly fry it in vegetable oil. At the end of cooking, salt, pepper the minced meat. Transfer the prepared minced meat to a deep bowl.
  5. In the same pan where the minced meat was fried, fry diced onions and crushed garlic. Then add the grated carrots to the pan and continue to fry.
  6. Then add diced tomatoes, stir and let the vegetables simmer a little in the tomato juice. Season the stewed vegetables with tomato paste, and salt and heat in a pan for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Take a deep bowl with fried minced meat, add boiled rice, and transfer vegetables from the pan to the minced meat with rice. Beat the egg and mix the meat filling thoroughly until smooth.
  8. Take a cake pan. On the bottom and sides of this form layout the largest and most beautiful boiled cabbage leaves, because when served on the table, they will be the front of the cake.
  9. Put 1/3 of the meat filling on the cabbage leaves and distribute it evenly on the bottom of the form. Cover the first layer of meat with a few cabbage leaves and layout the filling again. Continue in the same way. 3 layers of meat stuffing should turn out.
  10. Cover the last layer of stuffing with cabbage leaves, and bend the side leaves, directing them to the center. Salt, pepper, and grease the cake on top with olive oil.
  11. Cabbage pie, or lazy cabbage, should be baked in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. When the cabbage pie is ready, take it out of the oven, cool, cover with a large plate, turn it over and remove the form. You can decorate the top of the cabbage cake with greens and tomatoes.
