Cherries on bourbon

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Put the frozen cherries in a container and pour over the bourbon.
  2. 2. Remove the zest from the oranges, carefully cut off the remaining white "cotton wool" (otherwise the tincture will taste bitter), finely grate and add to the mixture of vodka and berries.
  3. 3. Close the tincture container tightly and leave in a dark place at room temperature for 4 days.
  4. 4. Sugar pour 200 ml of boiling water, let it dissolve, cool and add to the tincture. Leave the tincture alone for another day.
  5. 5. Mash the berries and strain the tincture through cheesecloth.
  6. 6. Pour into bottles, cork. Serve well chilled both neat and as a strong part in cocktails.
