This appetizer is a portioned skewers of chicken fillet marinated in soy sauce. It is convenient to serve such an appetizer on a buffet.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. With a sharp knife, cut the fillet lengthwise into 1.5 cm pieces (each fillet will make about 6 pieces). Cut each piece diagonally in half for a total of 24 pieces.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, oil, garlic, curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of ground black pepper. Put the chopped fillet in this bowl, mix and leave at room temperature for at least 15 minutes, and it is better to put in the refrigerator for a day.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the remaining soy sauce, lemon juice, peanut butter, coconut milk, sugar, a pinch of red pepper and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
  4. Turn on the oven with the "top grill" function to preheat to the maximum temperature, and place the rack in the highest position. Thread the fillet pieces onto soaked wooden skewers and put the chicken fillet appetizer on the wire rack. Cook skewers, flipping, until golden brown, about 7 minutes. In the meantime, put the saucepan on a slow fire and heat until thickened (if the sauce seems very thick, you can add 1 tablespoon of water).
  5. Serve chicken fillet with peanut sauce.
