Chicken "Kung Pao" with rice

Ingredients

  1. Combine chicken and cornstarch in a small bowl. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken.
  2. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, red pepper, and ginger to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 seconds. Remove from heat.
  4. Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar in a small bowl.
  5. Mix well. Add to the skillet.
  6. Place the chicken back into the pan. Mix well.
  7. Add nuts.
  8. Cook, stirring occasionally. Serve with hot rice.
