I am sharing my favorite recipe for cooking chicken and potatoes in the oven. It looks crazy, but this is my best way to cook chicken legs in the oven. You can't imagine how tasty the chicken legs are baked in this way! I generally keep quiet about young potatoes - they melt in your mouth!

  1. First of all, we marinate the legs (you can do this in advance). To do this, generously sprinkle the chicken legs with coriander and paprika, add salt, garlic, passed through a press, vegetable oil and adjika (if desired and if available). Rub the legs well with spices, garlic and oil.
  2. We leave the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or better overnight.
  3. Wash the young potatoes, peel them and send them to the baking sheet (I have a deep one).
  4. Here, if desired, add more vegetables - coarsely chopped sweet peppers and onions.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, a pinch of coriander and minced garlic. Do not add oil or fat.
  6. We insert the legs into the grill from the oven and fix them with toothpicks. We wrap the bone on top with foil so that it does not burn when baking.
  7. We put the resulting structure in the oven: at the bottom - a baking sheet with vegetables, and on top - a grill with chicken legs (they should hang freely over the potatoes).
  8. We bake chicken and potatoes in the oven preheated to a temperature of 200 degrees, 40-50 minutes.
  9. The crust of the potato fries well, but inside it remains soft. The chicken meat is incredibly juicy, and it seems to me that the legs have become smoky.
  10. Be sure to try again, it's delicious!
