Chicken skewers in the sleeve are very easy to cook at home right in the oven. Marinate chicken fillet with onion, balsamic vinegar, bay leaf. Then we bake the pieces of meat in the sleeve. And from onions and tomato juice we prepare a delicious and fragrant tomato-onion sauce. A fairly simple set of products stands guard over an appetizing lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. In the process of cooking, you will need cling film and a baking sleeve. Skewers can be strung on wooden skewers.
  3. Wash the chicken fillet and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Cut the poultry meat into small cubes with a side of 2-3 cm.
  5. Peel the onion, wash and cut into half rings.
  6. Grind the bay leaf with your hands or in a mortar.
  7. In a deep bowl, combine chicken fillet, onion, chopped bay leaf, balsamic vinegar, salt, ground pepper and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
  8. Mix everything thoroughly, cover with cling film and send to the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.
  9. Shortly before the end of the pickling time, turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  10. We tie the sleeve on one side, place it on a baking sheet and fill it with chicken fillet pieces in one layer (leave the pickled onion in a bowl, you will need it later). If the fillet pieces do not fit in one sleeve, then use two sleeves. You can string poultry meat on wooden skewers and fold it into a sleeve.
  11. We tie the sleeve on the second side and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes - bake the chicken meat until cooked.
  12. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. To do this, heat 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil, spread the pickled onion and fry for 3-5 minutes, until golden brown.
  13. Pour the tomato juice to the onion and boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  14. Pass the garlic through a press.
  15. Remove sauce from heat, add garlic and stir. The sauce is ready.
  16. Chicken skewers baked in a sleeve, served hot with tomato-onion sauce.
  17. The sauce can be served in a separate bowl.
  18. Enjoy your meal!
