Chicken stuffed with rice and prunes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, prepare the chicken: wash the chicken, cut off the protruding parts of the wings, excess skin, rub it with salt and pepper on the outside and inside.
  2. Prunes, if they are very dry, soak for 20 minutes in hot water (my prunes were soft and juicy, so I did without soaking). Cut the onion and prunes into small cubes, grate the carrots. Fry onions with carrots in vegetable oil.
  3. We wash the rice and boil it almost until tender. The highlight of this filling is garlic and dill, finely chop them.
  4. We mix all the ingredients (rice, onions with carrots, prunes, garlic, dill). We stuff our chicken with the prepared filling. Sew up the chicken or stab it with toothpicks. Grease the chicken on top with vegetable oil (this will make it juicy and ruddy).
  5. Everything. Our chicken is ready for baking. We send it to the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees. Do not forget to water the chicken with the released juice every 10 minutes. Decorate the finished chicken and serve.
