A bright and light Chinese cabbage salad with salted herring, sweet peppers, beans and onions will surprise you with an unbroken combination of ingredients and, as a result, a new and very original taste! Such a salad is suitable for both a festive menu and an ordinary lunch.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Finely chop the Chinese cabbage.
  2. Cut the pulp of red sweet pepper into cubes.
  3. Peel the red onion and cut into small cubes.
  4. Cut the salted herring fillet into cubes, carefully inspecting for the presence of bones and removing them.
  5. In a bowl or deep salad bowl, combine Chinese cabbage, sweet peppers, onions and herring.
  6. Add beans. Beans can be taken boiled or canned in white sauce or in their own juice (I have the latter option). For a more piquant taste of the salad, you can take the finished beans in Korean.
  7. Season the ingredients of the coleslaw with beans and herring with olive or sunflower oil. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Add salt carefully, taking into account the salinity of the herring.
  8. Stir the salad.
  9. Salad with Beijing cabbage, beans and herring is ready. Serve it to the table immediately after preparation.
  10. Bon appetit!
