A biscuit is prepared on egg whites with the addition of cocoa powder.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, flour, cocoa and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg whites with lemon juice until fluffy. Continuing to beat at high speed, gradually add the sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. Gently fold in the flour mixture into the egg white mixture, stirring with a spatula. Put the dough into a heat-resistant round form with a diameter of 24 cm with a hole in the middle. Place in a preheated oven, bake a chocolate sponge cake for 40-50 minutes, until cooked.
  5. Remove the finished chocolate biscuit from the oven, turn over and string the form on the neck of the bottle so that the cake does not settle. Leave in this position until cool.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with 150 g of water. Bring the mass to a boil, add chocolate, melt. Then add sugar, corn syrup and salt, cook for 5 minutes. Then remove from the stove, add vanilla extract, mix the sauce well.
  7. Carefully remove the cooled chocolate biscuit from the mold, after running a knife between the cake and the edges of the mold.
  8. Serve with chocolate sauce and garnish with fresh berries.
