A colorful and appetizing chocolate cake with sour cream and strawberries will be the most anticipated dish at the holiday, because it is so attractive and tasty that many will ask for dessert!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Break the eggs into a deep salad bowl, add sugar, salt and beat everything with a mixer at high speed or in the bowl of a food processor until fluffy foam.
  2. You can separate the yolks from the proteins and create a biscuit according to the classic version, but thanks to the baking powder, the dough will rise anyway, so this procedure can be simplified.
  3. Pour in the sifted wheat flour with baking powder and beat for another 1 minute at low speed.
  4. Then stir in the cocoa powder.
  5. Lubricate the multicooker bowl or mold with butter or vegetable oil and pour the chocolate dough into it.
  6. Bake a biscuit in a slow cooker on the "Baking" mode for 50 minutes or in an oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  7. Remove it and cool, only then cut horizontally into two cakes.
  8. Mix sour cream with sugar and cream thickener for 2-3 minutes until the cream becomes thick. The addition of a thickener is necessary, otherwise the sour cream with sugar will simply float and not become a cream!
  9. Coat the bottom biscuit with half of the cream and soak the top biscuit with any syrup or jam.
  10. Rinse the strawberries, leave 5-6 pieces for decoration, and remove the tails from the rest and cut them into slices. Put on cream.
  11. Cover the cake with the second soaked cake and brush with cream, decorate with the remaining strawberries and fresh mint. Refrigerate Strawberry Chocolate Cake for 30 minutes and serve with coffee or tea.
