Turn on the oven to preheat to 170 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper baskets.
In a large bowl, mix flour, ground almonds, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat butter with sugar, vanilla extract and citrus zest. Gradually add eggs, beating well after each. Continuing to beat at low speed, add flour, yogurt and milk.
Pour batter into prepared molds, filling them 3/4 full. Place in preheated oven, bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Take the muffins out of the oven and let them cool to room temperature.
Prepare cream. Cream butter with powdered sugar, add lemon and orange juices. Spread this cream over cooled muffins. You can decorate citrus muffins with decorative confectionery flowers.
