Coffee flip with nutmeg and cardamom

Any non-alcoholic flip can be easily turned into alcoholic by adding a little rum, brandy or liqueur to it at the last stage of preparation. Conversely, make the alcoholic liqueur completely "innocent" by replacing the alcohol with a suitable syrup.

  1. Remove the seeds from the cardamom pods and place them in a mortar. Add sugar and nutmeg. Pound as small as possible. Pour 2 tbsp. l. boiling water, let stand for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Mix coffee with spicy syrup. Beat the egg until fluffy. Place ice in a shaker, add coffee and egg, shake, strain into a glass and serve immediately.
