Moderately sweet, crispy on top, soft cookies inside. Cooking is very easy!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix flour with baking powder, alter with a spoon. Then we sift through a sieve. This is done in order to distribute the baking powder well in the flour. Add a pinch of salt, sugar, vanilla sugar (only 10g) and stir.
  2. Rub the cold butter into a bowl on a coarse grater, and grind it together with flour (with your hands).
  3. You should get a fine flour crumb.
  4. Add yogurt, grind, get a large crumb.
  5. Then add the egg yolk, only 20 grams and grind the dough.
  6. Collect the dough in a lump. It goes very well, the dough is plastic, shiny and does not stick to your hands, you can grease it a little with vegetable oil (0.5 tsp). Place the dough in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll out the cooled dough into a layer, ~ 5 ml thick. We do not dust the tabletop with flour, just a little rolling pin. Cut out circles Ф = 6-7 cm. I got 12 pieces. It is better to cut not all at once, but 2-3 circles each so that the dough does not heat up and does not shrink. While we cut and shape the piglets from these circles (2-3 pieces), the rest of the dough is in the refrigerator. Spread a little flour on the already cut circle. We send the rest of the dough to the refrigerator and take another piece of chilled dough.
  8. We form piglets. We lengthen the dough circles a little and cut the top - these are the ears.
  9. Lubricate the ears with protein whipped with a pinch of sugar and bend. Protein is like glue here. Lubricate the lower part of the muzzle a little and tuck it.
  10. We form a patch. You can secure the patch with a toothpick. Bend and round the patch a little.
  11. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper (do not grease the cookies with butter). We make a small puncture for the eyes, grease with protein and insert, for example, cinnamon (for children) or, like mine, peppercorns (for adults). If you wish, you can draw eyes on the finished and cooled cookie with melted chocolate. Cookies can be sprinkled with sugar before baking, I have not sprinkled them.
  12. We preheat the oven to 180 C and bake the cookies until light golden brown, about 10 minutes. Do not dry the cookies, they reach, ripen even after they are taken out of the oven. And if you want a more ruddy color, it is better to brown it under the grill or tint with red jam.
  13. Enjoy your tea!
