Your relatives love cottage cheese, but you are not sure about the quality of store-bought ones? Then prepare them such a cottage cheese cake dessert. It will be a great start to the day, because it contains natural cottage cheese, nuts, dried apricots and oatmeal cookies. And all this splendor is covered with chocolate! It's very tasty and easy to prepare.

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
  2. You can use any nuts, I used roasted cashews.
  3. If the dried apricots are hard, pour boiling water over it for 5 minutes, and then dry it with a paper towel.
  4. Put cottage cheese and sour cream in a bowl, mix until smooth.
  5. Grind oatmeal cookies with a knife or blender into crumbs. On a work surface or on cling film, make a rectangle out of the crumbs.
  6. Put the curd mass on a crumb of oatmeal cookies, giving the shape of a rectangle, not reaching the edges of 2-2.5 centimeters.
  7. Lay on the curd layer in the center along the strip of jam.
  8. Cut dried apricots into small cubes.
  9. Chop the nuts and put on the dried apricots.
  10. Bring a wide knife under the cookies with curd mass, along the length, and wrap the curd towards the center - lay it on the nuts. Do the same from the other end. Form a rectangular cheese bar, sprinkle it with oatmeal cookie crumbs and compact the cookie layer.
  11. It is advisable to do this on cling film so that the dessert is conveniently transferred to a plate.
  12. Transfer the cheese roll to a plate or platter.
  13. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and cover the dessert completely on all sides.
  14. Garnish with chopped nuts and dried apricots.
  15. Put the cottage cheese cake in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, until it hardens and stabilizes.
  16. Remove the cottage cheese dessert with cookies, jam, dried apricots and nuts from the refrigerator, cut and serve.
  17. Enjoy your meal!
