Simple croutons will be transformed in a matter of minutes if you brush them with soft melted cheese and cover them with boiled egg slices. It would seem that everything is elementary, so what's so interesting? But the taste of pieces of toasted bread as a whole is so transformed that once again you are convinced that everything ingenious is simple!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the food you need.
  2. Processed cheese can be safely replaced with cream cheese or cottage cheese, grated through a sieve or blender.
  3. Boil the egg hard-boiled (within 10 minutes after boiling), then cover with cold water and refrigerate. Peel the egg and cut into slices.
  4. (If you boil the egg in advance, it will take even less time to cook the croutons.)
  5. Fry slices of bread in a dry frying pan until golden brown on both sides (adjust the browning level to your liking).
  6. Transfer the croutons from the skillet to a plate.
  7. Brush each crouton with spreadable cream cheese.
  8. Place the egg slices on top of each crouton.
  9. Now sprinkle the cream cheese and egg croutons with salt and black pepper.
  10. Egg and cheese croutons are ready to serve.
  11. Bon Appetit!
