Crumble muffins with pears and nuts are a great opportunity to prepare a quick, nutritious and tasty dessert without kneading the dough in the traditional sense. Baskets made of puff pastry serve as the base, and the pear-nut filling is sprinkled with crumble - an appetizing crispy shortcrust pastry crumb.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Remove the puff pastry from the freezer 20 minutes before cooking.
  3. Instead of walnuts, you can use almonds, peanuts or cashews, or you can do without them altogether.
  4. Sift flour.
  5. Wash the pears.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry into a thin layer 2-3 mm thick and cut out circles with a diameter of 8-9 cm with a glass or a special cutting.
  7. Arrange the circles of dough in muffin or cupcake molds so that baskets are formed. I got 15 pieces.
  8. Peel the pears from the cores and cut into small pieces.
  9. Chop the walnuts with a knife.
  10. Mix walnuts, pears and vanilla sugar.
  11. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  12. For crumble, combine butter (it should not be too soft), sifted flour and sugar in a deep bowl
  13. Grind the mass with your hands or a fork until you get a small crumb.
  14. Add half of the crumbs to a bowl with pears and nuts, mix.
  15. Fill the baskets with pear-nut filling.
  16. Sprinkle crumble on top of filling (1 teaspoon per muffin).
  17. Bake muffins in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  18. Crumble muffins with pears and nuts are ready. Let them cool slightly in the molds, then carefully transfer to a serving platter.
  19. Original and uncomplicated pastry will surprise guests, because it has a layered crumbly dough, a juicy fruit filling with a nutty flavor, and a delicate, slightly sweet shortbread crumb.
  20. Very appetizing!
