If you add condensed milk and raisins to the dough for kefir muffins, you will need no more than one tablespoon of sugar. Cupcakes are moderately sweet and very fragrant, including thanks to the orange zest.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Rinse and dry the raisins.
  3. As additives, you can use not only raisins, but also other dried fruits, as well as candied fruits, frozen berries and nuts.
  4. In a deep bowl, combine eggs, sugar and kefir. Stir.
  5. Add condensed milk, mix thoroughly again with a whisk.
  6. Add flour and soda. Knead the dough until smooth.
  7. Using a grater with small holes, remove the zest from half an orange. Try to remove only the top orange layer of the rind (the white layer will be bitter in muffins).
  8. Add raisins and zest to the dough. Mix everything again.
  9. Grease silicone molds for cupcakes with butter or vegetable oil.
  10. Fill the molds two-thirds full (preferably halfway - the dough rises well).
  11. Put the forms with the dough in the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake the cupcakes for 25-30 minutes, until cooked.
  12. Cool the finished cupcakes completely on a wire rack.
  13. To serve, I decorated the cooled cupcakes with powdered sugar.
  14. You can also decorate cupcakes with chopped nuts, berries, pour honey or icing.
  15. Fragrant, soft and porous muffins with a golden brown crust - what else do you need for a delicious dessert!
