The cake according to this recipe is made from shortcrust crumb dough with curd filling, raisins, cream of sour cream with condensed milk and chocolate icing. An excellent treat for those with a sweet tooth.

  1. Prepare foods for your raisin curd cake.
  2. How to make raisin curd cake:
  3. Either soak the raisins in room temperature water until softened, or steam them in hot water.
  4. For shortcrust pastry, grind the butter and sugar.
  5. Add flour and baking powder and blend in a blender.
  6. You should have a crumb-like dough.
  7. For the curd filling, combine cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and mix them into a homogeneous mass with an immersion blender.
  8. Add raisins to the curd mass, mix.
  9. Pour half of the dough into a suitable dish or on a baking sheet so that the layer is about 1 cm high.
  10. Then cover with curd mass, spreading it with a spoon and leveling it with a spatula. Sprinkle the rest of the crumb dough on top.
  11. Bake shortbread with cottage cheese and raisins at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes.
  12. For the cream, simply mix the sour cream with the condensed milk.
  13. For icing, heat milk or cream and melt the chocolate pieces in them.
  14. Pour the cream and frosting onto the hot sandy curd base. Draw, with slight stirring, a "marble pattern". You can put it in the oven for another five minutes.
  15. Cut the curd shortcrust cake into rectangular cakes. Serve chilled curd cakes.
