Appetizing cutlets from canned fish and canned beans are cooked without eggs, and thanks to the addition of potatoes, they turn out to be tender on the inside. Wheat flour breading helps keep the patties in shape and provides a delicious crust on the outside. Fast, satisfying and tasty.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare your ingredients.
  2. Place the canned beans in a sieve and let the liquid drain.
  3. Drain the canned fish. I use canned sardines, but any canned fish will do.
  4. Place the canned beans in a salad bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.
  5. Peel the pieces of canned fish from the bones, mash with a fork until smooth and add to the beans.
  6. Finely chop the parsley.
  7. Peel and grate the potatoes.
  8. Pour salt and black pepper into a bowl of beans. Add potatoes and herbs.
  9. Mix everything well.
  10. Divide the mass into small portions (I divide into 5-6 parts). Dip each portion in flour and form into oval or round patties.
  11. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the cutlets there and fry for about 7 minutes on one side.
  12. Then turn the patties over, cover the pan with a lid and fry for another 7 minutes on the other side.
  13. Place the fried bean cutlets with fish and potatoes on a paper towel to absorb excess fat. Repeat the process with the remaining pieces.
  14. Canned fish and beans cutlets are ready.
  15. Add sauce, salad or garnish to taste if desired and serve.
  16. Bon Appetit!
