Fresh homemade bagels with sweet cherry filling are a real feast of taste for lovers of tender muffins that literally melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Yeast dough cakes, which turn out extremely tender and airy, are especially popular.
  2. Combine sour cream, egg, and sugar and beat thoroughly, then add melted butter.
  3. Dilute dry yeast in a small amount of warm water and pour it into the dough.
  4. Gradually add portions of flour and knead thoroughly until you get a soft and homogeneous dough.
  5. Wrap it in cling film and place it in a cool place for an hour.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out. Cut the circles into portion segments, spread the frozen cherries on a wide piece, and twist the bagels. If desired, you can add a little sugar to the berries, but then you need to lightly pinch the edges so that the juice does not leak.
  7. Place the pieces on a baking sheet, grease with beaten egg, and bake for about 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
